Project Details

The Forester is a Grade II listed Edwardian suburban Public House, erected in 1909 to designs by Thomas Henry Nowell Parr for the Royal Brewery of Brentford. The new owners wished to undertake a refurbishment of the external façades; internal areas: Public, Saloon and Lounge bars; restaurant; conservatory, together with the external rear public garden area and outbuilding.

The brief entailed a detailed assessment of the impact that the proposed refurbishments would have upon the historic building and undertake extensive negotiations with the local authority conservation officers, prior to the submission of an Application for Planning Permission and listed building consent for alterations, extension or demolition of a listed building
