Project Details

The project involved the construction of a new residential unit in Perivale, West London to create a detached 4-bedroom house.

The site was an underutilized vacant plot of land, located in a low density residential area. The juxtaposition of the proposed building on the site is similar to other buildings in the wider locale and has been designed to integrate with the surrounding built environment. The scheme has a traditional design, reflecting the character of the surrounding residential properties and consists of a single detached two-storey,4-bedroom residential unit built to Lifetime Home Criteria, with a private garden.

As a key project objective, the external environment and internal layouts have been design to meet the 16 Lifetime Homes standards. Internally, the dwelling consists of a open plan living/dining and kitchen area and a separate cloakroom at ground floor level; two bedrooms and a family bathroom at first floor level, together with a bedroom and en-suite bathroom at second floor level.
